Wavepoint® Studios is a company started by Rod Maupin, who has been a software developer for over 27 years and currently works in the Puget Sound area as a contract software developer.   Throughout his career, Rod has worked with several different operating systems and programming languages including Basic, Visual Basic, Visual Basic.NET, Pascal, Assembly, PL-1, C, Visual C++, and Visual C#.

For the last 18 years, he has developed applications and installations for the Microsoft Windows platform.  He has written hundreds of Windows installation programs using many different InstallShield products.

The InstallShield training courses grew out of a lack of affordable and convenient InstallShield training for the average person.  Our courses obliterate the learning curve normally associated with Windows Installation development.

Do you have a Guarantee?

I guarantee that the Course DVD and USB Stick are free from defects.  If you have a problem with either, just email or call, and I'll replace the defective items.  I also guarantee that after you have completed one of my courses, you will be able to create the type of installations that were covered in the course.

How can I pay for my order?

You can pay with a Credit Card, Debit Card (in some countries), with your PayPal account, or with Western Union.  Please note that we use PayPal to process credit card payments. So, when you click the Place Order button, you will be taken to the PayPal website.  While at the PayPal website, you can pay with PayPal, or you can pay with your credit card without having to create a PayPal account.

In some countries, you can pay with a Debit Card when you are taken to the PayPal website.   However, I can't give you a list of countries where you can use a debit card.  You will only find out once you checkout and arrive at the PayPal website.

If you are unable to process the order through any of the above procedures, you may call 360-446-1050, give me your credit card information, and I will run the charge through manually.  This method always works.

Can I use PayPal to pay for my order?

Yes, you can use your PayPal account to pay for your order.  When you click the Place Order button, you will be taken to the PayPal website where you can pay using your PayPal account.

I don't have a PayPal account and don't want one. Can I still order from you?

Yes, you can.  When you click the Place Order button, you will be taken to the PayPal website.  Once there, you can pay with your credit card without having to create a PayPal account.

If you have problems, you can call 360-446-1050, give me your information, and I will run the credit card charge through manually.  This method always works.

Can I use Western Union to pay for my order?

Yes, you can use Western Union to pay for your order.  Here are the instructions:
  1. Create an account on our website.
  2. Add the desired InstallShield Training course to your Shopping Cart.
  3. Click the Checkout button and you will be taken to the Checkout page.
  4. Select Western Union as the payment type.
  5. Select the type of shipping you want.
  6. Click the Print Western Union Order button.
  7. Take your printout to the nearest Western Union location and follow the instructions on the page.
When will my order be shipped?

If you place your order on Monday through Friday before 1:00PM PST (Pacific Standard Time), it will be mailed out the same day.  On international orders, since you will be paying for Global Express Guaranteed shipping, I will do everything possible to get it out the same day you placed the order, even if it's after 1:00PM PST.

Do you offer free shipping?

We offer free First Class shipping for domestic orders.  We can no longer offer free First Class Airmail shipping for international orders.  This is because we have had too many orders not make it to their destination.  I don't know why this is happening.  Perhaps it's because in the age of terrorism, it takes much longer for packages to clear the customs process.

All international customers are now required to pay for Global Express Guaranteed shipping, which is delivered by FedEx, and includes tracking information.  I wish things were different, but they are not.
